CookieGrove Editorial Desk reads every message sent through the form below. That form is the way to reach the desk, and nothing gets lost in between, even when a reply takes a few days.

What is your message about?

Up to 2000 characters. If you are reporting an error, tell us where it is.

We only use it to reply to you.

Your message and your address are used to reply to you, and for nothing else. See our privacy policy.

What is worth writing about

  • A recipe that spread when it should not have. Give your butter temperature, your oven, and whether you chilled the dough. Spread problems almost always come down to one of those, and if the instructions were not clear enough, the desk wants to know.
  • A texture that came out wrong. Cakey when it should be chewy, or the reverse. Say what you were aiming for and what you got.
  • A substitution that worked. If you found a swap that holds up, that is genuinely useful. Send the details and it gets checked against the recipe’s ratios.
  • A number that looks off. Bake times, pan sizes, yields. If yours disagrees with the page, say so and the figure gets checked again.

How long a reply takes

Usually a few days. If your question is about a recipe going wrong mid-bake, say so in the first line and it moves up the queue. The desk answers questions about baking; it does not answer questions about what to do with a dough you already threw away, mostly because there is nothing useful to say.

What will not get a reply

  • Guest post offers. CookieGrove does not publish contributed articles.
  • Paid link placements, sponsored inserts, and anything described as a collaboration that turns out to be a link request.
  • Generic SEO outreach.

Those go unanswered rather than refused individually, which saves everyone the exchange.
