Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened (113g)
  • ½ cup light brown sugar (110g)
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar (50g)
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (180g)
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (180g)

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Beat for 3 minutes until well combined.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract; beat for 1 minute until well combined.
  3. Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt on low speed for 1-2 minutes. Stir in chocolate chips by hand.
  4. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and roll into balls.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 300°F if required.
  6. Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Place 4 dough balls, equally spaced, in the basket.
  7. Air fry for 14 minutes at 300°F. Cool cookies for 4 minutes on parchment paper before transferring to a rack.
